COUNTY WHITE PATINA COLLECTION

The County White Patina furniture collection is handmade from Mango Wood which undergoes a special process which makes this beautiful range priceless. This is certainly something unique and is often considered to have a boutique style appearance. This range is a little more expensive however offers something very different from products that are readily available on the market.

The mango wood is well seasoned and hand waxed to provide a beautiful deep shine, it is then machine blastered with a special treatment which provides a very strong and deep coating on top of the wood, this is then treated with some unique finishes and is then coated with a lacquered protection. The whole process requires a group of 6 - 8 people from start to finish to care for each piece during the manufacturing cycle of this range.

The County furniture collection is very robust, and requires very little maintenance which is often why this appeals to contract markets. If you are looking for something eye catching and a talking point, then the County Collection is certainly a Belly Nelly Signature range to consider. This carries no Indian characteristics as your normal India Products would, but does has a different feel altogether.

The term 'Patina' is used in this range and that simply describes the finish and feel, the item is not completely smooth but allows you to actually feel the grains and the ripples in the wood. It is smooth enough to place glasses and plates on but has a minute grain texture that makes this ultimately one of a kind, there is no machine polish applied to this end product.

This exclusive collection has a very rustic look to it yet contemporary design. All handles are Chrome and are very designer looking.

Please note, the manufacturing process is so intense on all the County Products that the coating applied is very deep within the wood and does not peel off, the chemical treatments used do not allow the stains either to come off and has been designed to be hard wearing.

White Patina products do not have distinctive grains but do differ from piece to piece; sometimes there can be small yellow pigmentation in the wood due to the natural production and raw materials sourced, but this is what creates the unique White Patina product overall.

The Novita collection is by far one of the best selling chair collections in the UK. With very little exposure this range has created a huge demand. The quality on all the Novita products is second to none.

Great care and presentation has been considered when producing such a medium to high end product. There are many colour combinations available along different chair leg colours. Care Instructions

Protective Matt Finish / Lacquered

As the surface has a natural wax finish great care should be taken to avoid any liquids being spilt onto the surface as this may mark the furniture.

For everyday care, wipe with a dry cloth or duster. To achieve optimum finish, polish your product with beeswax polish available for Sheesham wood, using either a dry cloth or soft material and buff your furniture slowly ensuring excess wax is removed.

If any stains occur you can gently sand areas which may cause patches if spillages occur and then re-wax to bring your product back to the original form.

  • To avoid your product from being damaged we would always recommend that you always use protective coasters or mats. Each piece is built for life, however if abused the natural product can deteriate if not cared for.
  • Do not place cups, glasses or hot items directly onto the surface as this can cause permanent damage.
  • Avoid exposing the furniture to excessive heat or direct sunlight as this can potentially cause cracking and discolouration of the timber.
  • Do not use silicone based aerosol polish as this will remove the natural colour and protective coating.
  • Never use a damp cloth as this may also remove part of the coating.
  • Any spillages must be wiped away immediately using a dry cloth.

Important

The final finishing process involves a colour stain and lacquer applied to the product, and then buffed to enhance the wood grain. You may find that parts of the packaging leave impressions in the soft wood. These can simply be polished out with a soft cloth once your furniture has warmed to room temperature.

You must ensure you have good access for our delivery vehicles. Drivers are unaccompanied and in the case of larger pieces of furniture, will require assistance with unloading. Drivers cannot leave vehicles unattended, so please do not expect them to take items to upstairs storerooms or alternative storage areas.
