Established in 2007 as a distributor for up market home furniture, Furniture Haus decided to develop & expand its model into an online trading portal for end customers to buy furniture direct.
The company is built on a philosophy of quality, value and service that is second to none, with our consistent attention to detail and quality in every one of our product lines. The majority of Furniture Haus Direct’s furniture collections are of a contemporary nature. The feel and look of our furniture collections, with the exception of a few traditional ranges, offer different lifestyles and meet the demands of modern day living.
We have taken the concept of ethnic styling to a new level, utilizing our unique finishes to create chic, organic-looking furniture collections in both contemporary and traditional styling. From city apartments to country cottages the FurnitureHausDirect.com collection will complement any space or environment.
75% of FurnitureHausDirect.com furniture products are made from either Indian Sheesham Teak and/or Mango fruit wood both from sustainable wood sources (at present, 2010). There could be slight variations in the size and colour between each piece of FurnitureHausDirect.com furniture, as each piece is handmade using traditional methods creating uniqueness from piece to piece.
Development
Furniture Haus Direct has launched its new site with a fresh new feel and look in 2010. The company directors decided it was time that the direction to take was to create and develop an area online where customers could interact more and view our product offerings in a more enhanced way. Not only is this a tool for contract opportunities/bespoke manufacturing but it is also an opportunity for the general public to buy direct for the first time.
This site runs in a slightly different way to many other online furniture shops, we are committed to all our customers in a way which makes us stand out. Furniture buying could not really have been made any easier, 75% of our collections are ready for collection on the same day as placing your order. Even better if you do not want to take advantage of this we can deliver your goods within 2 working days of ordering and even put your furniture together and remove your packaging.
We have a warehouse which is 8000 square feet fully racked and forklift operated; we have a quality checking department (QC INSPECTION), we try to stock all our popular lines which we buy in direct from the manufacturers. We also have a well equipped and product educated sales team who are at hand Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm either via telephone or email. You can contact us via email over the weekends and our office manager will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
We are a family run business with a great working atmosphere. We have selected only the best manufacturers and partners to offer high quality items both nationwide and in Europe.
Our system and online tool is geared up to offer as accurate information as possible, so if products are in stock they will be highlighted to show that the item is available. This is often a major flaw within online stores as to many online stores a supplier is just a section of their online shop. This is where we are stronger and hope to offer a prompt response.
